People! This is the new norm so get used to it. No market crash is going to happen, unless something drastic happens throughout the world.
Prices will always increase on EVERYTHING.

Buy now, refi later…Still better to buy a house than to rent a house…In AZ 🤭

@RedShipsofSpainAgain · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Wow Trump and the Republicans really shot themselves in the foot with the unaffordability crisis; they're gonna get slaughtered in the midterms as a consequence.

@kyoung5600 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Higher and higher and higher and driving people nuts

@johntaylor5034 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Anybody want to venture a guest as to where rates would have been had Kamala Harris been elected president. I generally don’t play what if, but this one is such a softball I couldn’t resist.

@KevinQuinlan-v7s · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

The reason house prices went up is because the Dems brought 25 million illegals in.

@KevinQuinlan-v7s · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

This isn't Trump he wants rates down. They are raising them because of inflation. The inflation is from high fuel cost (war) not a booming economy that needs to be brought into check, makes no sense.

@rebelliousgoat1557 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

There are no future homebuyers. Just property flippers.

@thomasdouglas4943 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

What home buyers? Normal people can't afford to buy houses anymore. Can't afford a home, kids, college, daycare, retirement, etc. There's no incentive anymore.

@AdrenalineJunkie25 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Here we go again

@thesoccertrotter1 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Keep pushing the rates up, eventually the prices will crash, all these boomers need to know their cardboard box ain't worth 💩

@eile4219 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Interest rate is not the issue. House price is the reason why people can't buy a house

@CrunchyBlack_386 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

The problem is inflation and these insane home prices.

@EazyE11 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

"Silver lining?" 😂😂😂😂

@mariaguilar8882 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Just buy cash you wouldn't have to worry about interest rates!

@ImThatFunnyGuy · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

I know what it means.. boomers house price go up while they pay 800 a month for a 600k house meanwhile if a new buyer goes to buy the monthly payment is $4,000 a month lol 😂 yeah it’s a SCAM!!

@Zelzelzzz · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

What American dream? Either you stay at an apartment that you can afford and have food on the table or buy a house and worry about all the bills

@AustinTate-d1k · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

My parents bought their home in 1996 for 53k lol.. Also just to put 7% interest in perspective, to make it simple, if you bought a home and got a 30yr mortgage for 200k, the total ammount you paid at the end of that 30yrs would be around 480k

@McDonut24 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

Screw it, crash the market

@73hd62dhs6 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

INSANE. The most advanced nation in the world, and its citizens are deliberately being driven into homelessness. They won’t get corporations out of the housing market, they won’t build more homes, and they won’t teach people how to build their own home.

@daconnoisseurrex1752 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

I want to buy a home next year 😮

@apara2005 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

This heartbreaking!!!!!!! How are we supposed to live like this.

@mikethemechanic7395 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

So glad I got my house in 2003. 5.8 percent 30 year. Just paid it off. It’s worth 650k. Purchased it for 235k.

@shadaeChevelle4737 · October 28, 2026 at 10:02 pm

DON’T buy a home right now! Keep waiting ..the housing market is about to be flooded.
