For people who may struggle with a budget, I highly suggest going the David Bach route he outlined in Automatic Millionaire and implement the reverse budget. This is my primary method of saving and it's helped me a lot on my journey to financial sovereignty. Good luck to everyone and I hope you get the house you've always dreamed of

I'm in the process pretty soon to buy a home. At this moment on sec 8 in NC, been 20 til 30 years now.🤦 But, I am not wanting to go through the (Homeownership program). I want to branch out on my own, so I can make passive income renting out probably after a year or two, and probably sell in about 20 years, or not. At the age I am, being age 54, the is clock is clicking fast. 🤦

Like what the actual fuck. Any bank can explain what's been mentioned here and more in the same amount of time or less as well as give you offers for first time home buyer programs.

Ugh this is a lot of information here. Having to be well financially disciplined and dedicated on saving up large portions just for a traditional single-unit house with a fenced backyard that is what I wanted in Central Texas area.

People keep your darn house. You have to start all over with a mortgage most people who sell their homes regret it
Don't turn your family into RENTAL SLAVES.These agents of real estate want fat commissions. Always sending flyers that are discarded. Owning a home is only good because your in charge of all bills that increase every year.
Taxes cost more then the house. Repair cost are all of yours but at least you don't have to wait for a landlord. Don't be fooled by these agents. It's about the dollar.
